Spanish telephone company Telefonica has sealed the deal and will soon dispose of the majority shares of Tuenti.
Tuenti.com is the most famous Spanish social network which until recently had more members and visits than almighty Facebook.
Tuenti has around 8 million unique users and traffic that sometimes surpasses that of Google in Spain.
Moreover, the social network has transformed into one of the preferred places for Social Networks Marketing in Spain and its total price has increased with 34% for only 2 years.
Sources close to the deal say that Telefonica will purchase close to 90% of the social network, which would account to 68-70 million Euros.
